This Privacy Policy describes the types of personal information collected by SJC Resilient, how we use such information, and to whom and under what circumstances we may disclose it.  This Privacy Policy applies to SJC Resilient’s website, (the “Site”) and any personal information obtained when you call, email, or otherwise communicate with SJC Resilient. By accessing the Site or otherwise interacting with us, you agree to this Privacy Policy. We can modify this Privacy Policy at any time, and will post the current version on the Site. We encourage you to periodically review our Privacy Policy to stay informed about how we are using the information we collect.

Information We Collect When You Visit the Site

For each visitor to our Site, we may collect information such as the domain name of the website the visitor came from, the e-mail addresses of those who post messages to our bulletin board (if given), the e-mail addresses of those who communicate with us via e-mail, aggregate information on what pages visitors access or visit, information volunteered by a visitor, such as survey information, participation in chats or discussion boards,  and/or site registrations. SJC Resilient does not sell or rent your information for commercial purposes.

We may collect website user information for marketing and communications purposes, internal review, research, and to improve the content of our Web page, but personally identifiable information is not shared with other organizations for commercial purposes.

Cookies: To help make our Site more responsive to the needs of our visitors, we invoke a standard feature found in browser software, called a “cookie”, to assign each visitor a unique, random number, a sort of anonymous user ID that resides on your computer. When SJC Resilient’s Site includes links to other sites, SJC Resilient does not assume any responsibility or liability for any communications or materials available at the sites to which it links, including responsibility or liability for their accuracy. No link on SJC Resilient’s Site is a referral or endorsement of either the linked-to entity or any product or service.

If our information practices change at some time in the future, we will post the policy changes to our Site to notify you of these changes and may provide you with the ability to opt out of these new uses. If you are concerned about how your information is used, you should check back at our Web site periodically.

Security Information

With respect to security: We endeavor to make sure that our Site and services provided by SJC Resilient protect personal information that we receive are secure. When we transfer and receive certain types of sensitive information such as financial information, we redirect visitors to a secure server and will notify visitors through a pop-up screen on our Site. However, no Site or online transaction is completely and perfectly secure, and you should exercise care and judgment in ensuring that you follow good security practices, including accessing our Site through a secure device and internet connection.

All sensitive information provided by individuals to SJC Resilient is considered confidential, unless otherwise noted. Information is never sold or traded. If Mental Health America wishes to use any confidential information provided, the provider will be contacted, and a release form outlining its use will be provided. Individuals retain the right to request SJC Resilient remove their information from all mailings, both online and on paper at any time, and SJC Resilient will endeavor to remove the information in a reasonable manner, but delays between any such request and the discontinuation of related mailings can occur.

Your Options Concerning Personal Information

We provide all visitors to our Site with the ability to make certain requests regarding their personal information.  For example, you can request:

  • information regarding the categories and specific information we have collected about you;
  • correction of information we have about you that is incorrect; and
  • deletion of information we have collected about you.

Your exercise of these rights will have no adverse effect on the price and quality of our goods or services. When you exercise these rights and submit a request to us, we may verify your identity by asking you for your email address, telephone number, or other information.
